Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary General Engineer/Architect in the Planning, Design and Construction Directorate of NAVFAC NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will lead multi-disciplinary teams of design and construction engineers that both design facility projects and oversee construction. You will determine work priorities for employees to ensure performance to plan goals are met. You will lead design staff in performing project management roles for the project (scope, cost, and schedule) from preliminary design authorization to project closeout. You will oversee the development of plans and specifications, design-build Requests for Proposals (RFPs), cost engineering and consultation services to primarily support Category I and II work products. You will provide construction engineering expertise on projects managed within the PDCB, particularly those of an unusual or complex nature. You will review and approves the PWD position concerning contractor entitlement for change through interpretation of contract clauses and the technical requirements of plans and specifications.
