Mechanical Engineers (Natick, MA) Perform concept development for medical devices using mechanical design, mechanical engineering analysis, theoretical mechanics, and mechanics of materials; Create 2D/3D modeling for parts and assemblies using Solidworks and AutoCAD; Build and optimize prototypes with 3D printing; Conduct test method development, validation and execution for mechanical components with computational methods for data analysis, stress-strain analysis, design of experiment; Provide and review numerical simulations using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure proper product performance and reliability; Optimize designs for manufacturability and facilitate the transfer of the design to manufacturing with injection molding knowledge, mechanical tolerance analysis and mechanical properties of materials.
