The Senior Communications Professional plays a pivotal role in the strategic planning, design, and implementation of the company's communication systems and workflow automation. This role demands a robust understanding of CRM platforms (notably Salesforce), alongside expertise in workflow automation, rules, process analysis, and optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong capabilities in testing, troubleshooting, logic, and problem-solving. Work assignments for the Senior Communications Professional will address moderately complex to complex challenges, necessitating a thorough analysis of variable factors to ensure effective solutions

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Integrates and executes communications strategies and multi-layered content/solutions that advance Humana's Military's market-centric approach, business objectives and company transformation efforts.

  • Assists and participates in communications planning and programming for enterprise-wide initiatives, such as education, policy changes, crisis events, business initiatives, military readiness, and benefit messaging.

  • Coordinates lines of communication within team and broader business, to create efficient communication delivery and automation.

  • Coordinates with team in managing high-volume of communications and tight deadlines without compromising quality or outcomes.

  • Liaises with peers, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to implement proven communications approaches.

  • Shares communications best practices with internal stakeholders and other communicators.

  • Fosters collaborative relationships with internal team members and key business partners to share best practices and put greater discipline around communications strategy and tactics.

  • Understands and utilizes innovative communications tools, technology and approaches to elevate the effectiveness of communications.

  • Provide knowledge to influence project, initiative, and technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages. Influence technology selection and implementation decisions with our IT partners and the digital communications team.

Required Qualifications

  • Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position

  • Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)

  • HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field

  • Need to live in the Eastern or Central time zone

  • 5+ years of employee communications and change management experience with proven expertise in developing workflow automations for multichannel communication delivery

  • Adept at data and analytics

  • Demonstrated ability to independently plan, lead and implement multimedia comms projects

  • Experience working under tight deadlines, multitasking and delivering quality work under pressure

  • Advanced knowledge of communication platforms, including various Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior project management experience combined with communications and go-to-market strategy experience

  • Prior experience in the health care solutions industry

  • Experience with military health benefits

  • Experience working in agile practices and methodologies

Work at Home Requirements

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$76,800 - $105,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
