Amazon Optimization Product Manager, Workforce Staffing (WFS) in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

Come help us create innovative products for Amazon's Associates, managers, and leaders to support the evolution of the Workforce Staffing (WFS) organization.

In this role you will serve as a senior member of our product management team and own the strategy, roadmap and positioning of existing and new products, while also helping us to invent new innovative products. You will work closely with leaders to understand their pain points to inform your roadmap or develop new products.

You will deliver solutions that improve the employee experience and provide leaders insights to make better informed business decisions for WFS. You will effectively communicate, manage trade-offs, proactively approach problem solving, justify prioritization, and influence stakeholders. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, UX, business intelligence and other partner teams in an agile development environment to create voice of employee experiences that are meaningful to employees.

You have strong problem-solving skills, deep product management experience, understand HR systems and voice of employee mechanisms. You have excellent communication skills and are a data-driven decision maker.

Key job responsibilities

• Work backwards from the frontline (employees, Site Leadership including managers and HR) to ensure the product is meeting the greatest need, rigorously prioritizing on their behalf.

• Work with the leadership team to set strategy, define the product, and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.

• Drive the key strategy for the product, looking across a multi-year roadmap.

• Work with global stakeholders across HR and the business.

• Partner with Tech, Analytics and User Experience teams to deliver the product.

• Drive usage of the HR product to positively impact the employee experience.

• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

• Work with Central Science teams to determine impact on retention to Employees.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
