Actalent is currently partnering with a laboratory in the Nashville area in need of multiple Medical Lab Scientists to join their team. Please see below for details and qualifications!

Description:

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing

• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions

• Monitor operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality

• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving

• Prepare test and evaluate new reagents or controls

• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care

• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures

• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary

• Assist with processing of specimens when needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Lab Science, or Medical Technology required

• ASCP or AMT and TN license required

• 2+ years of experience preferred

Details:

• Intermediate Level

• Multiple shifts available

• $34-40/hr, BOE/shift
