IT Applications Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To manage activities associated with file transfers, production control, and scheduling in a business environment; to be responsible for management and development activities for a group, section or product; and to be responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of applications, systems and programs.

Experience Requirements

4 yr+ Able to lead a fast paced team with daily and project based tasks

4 yr+ Managing a team with defined SLAs on a 24x7 basis

4 yr+ Experience required with IBM Sterling B2Bi, IBM Partner Community Manger, & IBM Partner Engagement Manager

3 yr + Experience required with SFTP, FTPS, & PGP technologies

3 yr+ Experience required in a Linux/AIX environment

2 yr+ Experience with ServiceNow or other major ticketing systems

1 yr Experience with Progress Messageway preferred

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree with major in IS or Management required. Major in Information Systems or Management strongly preferred.

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Leadership/management/motivational skills

Work environment requirements for entry-level opportunities include –

Physical: Computer keyboarding
