Requirements

  • New grad’s are welcome to apply!

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered eligible.

  • Demonstrate a customer service orientation with patient and family members.

  • Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.

  • Available for on call coverage.

  • Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs ultrasound studies for various age groups of patients.

  • Provides technical support for the Radiologist and assists in the care, comfort, and safety of patients.

  • Prepares accumulated data from the exams for interpretation by the Radiologist. Provide accurate documentation of OB data, prepare reports, and release appropriately.

  • Assist with the development of new exams, and implement changes to present exams to enhance the quality of patient care and delivery of services.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
