Campbell Companies Service Writer in Murray, Utah

Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process sales/service orders from order entry to invoicing within WIP guidelines.

  • Manage sales/service orders in company business system and work order management tools.

  • Ensure all jobs are on schedule for committed delivery dates, and all parts are ready on time throughout the job. Communicate and adjust schedules as necessary.

  • Communicate with shop supervisors, team leads, and other departments effectively to ensure efficient operations and job completion.

  • Work with and schedule outside vendors as needed.

  • Work with customers and Sales Coordinator to provide quotes on new builds.

  • Follow up with customers and internal associates to update and inform throughout each job.

  • Proofread and ensure completion of sales/service orders. Communicate with technicians if more information or clarification is needed.

  • Ensure labor hours and parts on orders are accurate and fair to both the customer and to Heritage.

  • Bring customer disputes or finance issues to supervisor promptly if unable to resolve on their own.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an excellent safety record. Commitment to utilizing company safety programs, keeping safety first and adopting the Campbell Companies safety culture of zero accidents.

  • Excellent time management.

  • Ability to solve problems effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, phone, email, etc.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Current Utah driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the work truck industry, automotive, and/or truck equipment service and repairs.

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical and upfitting.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
