Movement Disorders Neurologist (Neurology)

The Intermountain Neurosciences Clinical Program is conducting a search for a board-certified Neurologist with Movement Disorder Fellowship training to join our Movement Disorder Center. Successful candidates will demonstrate extraordinary clinical skills, exemplary bedside manner, strong teamwork, and a passion for disruptive innovation to redefine the ways in which we care for patients.

The Movement Disorder Center is located on the Intermountain Medical Center (IMED) campus in Salt Lake and serves as the hub for movement disorder care for the system. Through our ‘Parkinson’s Elevated’ program we are bringing the tools of value-based care to the specialty condition of Parkinson’s to ensure all our patients receive financially sustainable evidence-based care including implementation of the most promising disease modifying treatment currently available: high-intensity aerobic exercise. In addition to working with Parkinson’s patients we provide care for all movement disorders, serving a large catchment area including rural locations without local access to sub-specialized movement care. At our center we offer specialized movement care including Deep Brain Stimulation, botulinum toxin injections, and access to investigator initiated and multi-center clinical trials. We also have a primary care physician integrated into our clinic who is available to become the PCP for any of our patients with Parkinson’s, a Nurse who serves as our Center Coordinator, and a Nurse Navigator who bridges the clinical and social work needs of our patients.
