Description

A wonderful, stable, and growing client of Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Accountant with AP Experience. This role encompasses comprehensive responsibility for payroll, AP, credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliation, quarterly financials, and monitoring monthly cash flow. The position includes direct client interaction for processing bills and setting up new accounts for various assets. Key dimensions involve acting as the primary contact and relationship manager, delivering timely financial statements and managing client cash accounts. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate books, ensuring confidentiality, and handling payroll responsibilities, including staying informed about the latest COVID FRCRA Cares Act information. You will be managing payroll, performing payroll at various intervals, and responding to various client requests and inquiries. The position plays a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing essential support to clients and internal teams.

This position is initially onsite for 3 months; hybrid 3x/week once trained.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in Payroll

• Payroll experience must be current

• Must have working knowledge of the latest State and Federal Tax laws

• Paychex a big plus – not mandatory (if the individual has ADP or experience with other payroll software, they will cross train)

• Accounts Payable experience at some point in your career

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• B.A. in Accounting or Finance

• CPA or CPA track a plus but not required
