Telemetry Registered Nurse - Travel

CTTX Health is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment. As a Telemetry nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, providing continuous observation, and ensuring prompt intervention when necessary.

In this role, you will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate care plans for patients with cardiac conditions. You will also collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide education to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment plan.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret patients' telemetry readings, including EKG waveforms.

  • Report any significant changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare team.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

  • Assist with procedures and interventions as needed.

  • Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.

  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Telemetry nursing.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Experience with interpretation of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.

  • Excellent observational and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Flexibility to travel and work in different healthcare settings.
