Description We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the insurance industry, based in Morrisville, North Carolina. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, focusing on managing relationships with over 150 bank accounts, providing customer service, and handling various accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with various banking entities and ensure that agencies have the resources they need.

• Provide top-tier customer service, answering questions and resolving any issues.

• Meet set goals and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

• Analyze financial data and write simplified reports to break down and simplify the process.

• Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain composure under pressure.

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to carry out tasks efficiently.

• Perform various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Process customer billing functions and check processing.

• Utilize ADP for financial services and Concur for expense management.

• Operate Great Plains (GPAC) for business solutions and financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur software

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience in Check Processing.
