  THE POSITION

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Patient Safety Officer to join our dynamic healthcare team. This pivotal role is designed for a passionate individual who is committed to fostering a culture of safety and promoting the highest standards of care. As a steward of patient welfare, you will be at the forefront of implementing innovative safety protocols and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise will drive our mission to deliver safe, effective, and exceptional patient experiences within our organization.

• Bachelor’s Degree required; RN or other clinical or professional licensure preferred. Master’s Degree preferred.

• Five (5) years minimum experience in healthcare or directly related field required.

• Certification in healthcare quality, patient safety or related accreditation entity preferred (required within 2 years of employment).

• Previous experience or knowledge of The Joint Commission, Cause Analysis, Human Factors and Culture of Safety preferred.
