As an Engineering Design Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical test systems drafting, design review, and drawings release in our Product Data Management System. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering designs and documentation. In this role, you will have an impact in our product test equipment by providing technical support, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of engineering drawings, and contributing to the overall success of engineering test solutions projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review electrical and mechanical designs to ensure compliance with system requirements and industry standards
Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for electrical and mechanical systems
Create Engineering Change Requests and coordinate the drawings release process to ensure accurate design documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and provide technical support
Travel, up to 10% may be expected.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
5+ years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD, CREO (Pro/E), Siemens NX, or similar software
5+ years of experience with ASME Y14.5-2018 and ASME Y14.1-2020 drafting and GD&T standards
Ability to read, write and speak English
WE VALUE:

Associate degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline in a related field
Ability to understand engineering drawings and documents
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
