Robert Half Investment Portfolio Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description
Our client, an institutional investment manager in the Twin Cities is seeking a detail-oriented and an analytical-minded individual for a direct hire role as an Investment Portfolio Analyst. This role is integral to the acquisition of new and existing investments to the firm's portfolio
Maintain and validate data involved in trade decisions
Manage all data processes from start to finish
Run portfolio analysis through business intelligence software
Directly handle trade and data queries with counterparties
Maintain the portfolio reporting infrastructure
Become the go-to person for all reporting and data analysis pertaining to portfolio investments
Assist in research projects
Monitor investment strategies and their outcomes
Coordinate with technology teams to maintain data accuracy and analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or mathematics
Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills
Excellent communicative abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
High analytical skills
Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of Data Base management tools
A proactive attitude to developing new ideas and refining existing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in mortgage credit and real estate
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and CAS
Progress towards investment-related certifications like CFA
