Job ID360429 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilyResearch-Researchers Full/Part TimePart-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code8352R1 Employee ClassCivil Service About the Job Dr. Sabine Schmid in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a part-time (4-6 hours per week) Clinical Research Coordinator (Researcher 1) passionate about advancing research on the treatment for major depressive disorder. This is an excellent opportunity to start or grow a career in research while working with supportive faculty. You will be working directly with members of the research team, participants, and clinicians providing Behavioral Activation Therapy. A successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that trials are run in an ethical, scientifically rigorous, and timely manner. Job Responsibilities/Duties: (50%) Study Management Monitor implementation, management, coordination and documentation of all study activities in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, federal regulations and institutional policies. Ensure that components of the project are completed in an ethically, scientifically, rigorous and timely manner. Maintain working knowledge of assigned protocols and disease background. Directly communicate with participants for scheduling and other needs Register, schedule and manage participant visits via EPIC (the electronic reporting system) Meet with study PI weekly to discuss study progress/updates Collaborate with research and clinic teams (50%) Data management Perform study data collection and entry using Box and Dropbox including collecting data from the recruitment team to schedule the patients. Manage data and information sharing with the billing team. Maintain/organize research data including therapy session recordings. Regularly update living research documents (e.g., therapists' availability, participant enrollment and data) Qualifications Required Qualifications: -BA/BS or a combination of education and related work experience equal to 4 years. -Good understanding of and work ethic consistent with) GCP and the code of federal regulations applicable to clinical research. -Solid English (both verbal and written) communication skills; verbal and written. -Ability to work both independently and within a team. -Attention to detail. -Strong commitment to data integrity. -Flexible enough schedule to accommodate the occasional time-sensitive work.
