Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician Residency Program

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• Clinical Faculty (Supplemental Faculty .9 FTE/.1 FTE) Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physicians majority of time will be providing teaching, supervision, and mentorship to residents and medical students. Develop and maintain an independent clinical practice, without the presence of residents, in accordance with ACGME requirements. Maintain hospital privileges in order to provide hospital coverage. The physician will report to the Program Director.Optional Functions:-Educational lectures for the residents and students-Research participation-Faculty advisor for a group of residents-Participation in the timely evaluation of the residents and students -Faculty development activities-Residency recruitmentQualifications:-Professional clinical experience in Family Medicine-Wisconsin Physician License MD or DO-DEA Certificate-Board Certified in Family Medicine

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
