Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Clinical Instructor in Mental Health to join our School of Nursing team in Fall 2024. This is an MSN prepared individual who will be primarily responsible for teaching students in a mental health clinical setting. This could include Inpatient and Outpatient services. This individual will also provide instruction through simulation and may provide some classroom instruction. They will assist students in developing their critical thinking, clinical judgement and nursing skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with students in the clinical setting using evidence-based best practice in performance of skills Help students to develop clinical reasoning and critical thinking in the clinical setting Encourage appropriate interprofessional activity and effective communication Provide effective, efficient and timely feedback to students through verbal and written communication throughout the semester Communicate effectively with course coordinator and appropriate resources as needed Evaluate student performance using the established Clinical Evaluation Tool Participate in scheduled simulations or lab activities Participate in weekly course meetings Prepare for each clinical day through...
