We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Facilities Manager to the right candidate. For those of you who have experience with Class A campus facility management, possess talents working with employees and vendors, and have excellent organization, project management and customer service skills, this position might be great for you!

The ideal Facilities Manager will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Manage a Facilities team and work closely with a 3rd party property management team for the successful operation of a Class A campus.

  • Have a keen understanding of the disciplines within Facilities Management versus Property Management.

  • Act as representative ambassador of facilities services for campus employees (aka internal customers).

  • Supervise projects to include coordination with construction management on renovations, workstation modifications, moves, and changes.

  • Develop and monitor schedules and budgets for specific facility related projects.

  • Oversee team providing event scheduling, logistics, and event production.

  • Oversee the monitoring, identification, and resolution of facility and furniture conditions needing attention.

  • Manage adherence to building aesthetics, furniture standards and protocols.

  • Development, oversee, and implement the budget each year, including the allocation of internal resources efficiently and cost-effectively.

  • Prioritize upgrades and renovations to improve efficiency.

  • Partner with internal customers and Space Optimization team to plan facilities/space needs (reorganization, growth, or reduction), both for short term and long-term needs.   

  • Review and approve all invoices associated with property maintenance identifying opportunities for expense reduction.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managerial experience required with facilities management experience of a Class A campus or building.

  • Extensive knowledge of facility management best practices

  • IFMA Certifications preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience/exposure to campus event management – internal and 3rd party.

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems

  • Must have strong customer service, communication, decision making, and planning skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and resolve problems.

  • Strong knowledge of building and property maintenance and functions. 

  • Ability to work with and negotiate long term commitments with outside vendors. 

  • Proven history of successful leadership skills

  • Dress: Business attire

    Location: This position is located at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

    The Zions Technology Center is a 410,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
