AT&T Principal Cybersecurity - Release Manager in Middletown, New Jersey

The Principal Cybersecurity works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the cyber security programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage software releases across the enterprise for multiple applications and portfolios.

  • Handle releases that include application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, projects, and programs.

  • Build and maintain the IT Release Calendar, collaborating with release managers from different portfolios across the organization.

  • Centralize the view of all releases to ensure effective planning and coordination.

  • Prepare metrics and reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies to track, maintain, and report compliance activities.

  • Manage risks that affect release scope, schedule, and quality and resolve issues promptly to ensure successful application releases.

  • Assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence.

  • Measure the integrity of releases against defined criteria.

  • Interface and communicate with various stakeholders, including Test Managers, Dev Managers, Ops, PMO, and Product

  • Provide reporting and meeting updates related to release progress.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.

  • Requires 8 – 10 years of related experience.

  • Understanding of software development processes and environments.

  • Program Management CMPM certification.

  • Expert at Microsoft office applications including MS projects.

  • Power Automate and Teams desired.

  • Familiarity with SailPoint

  • Must work on site in one of the listed locations (3-5 days a week). No relocation is provided for this position.

Our Principal Cybersecurity, earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
