Description

We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger management, and Journal Entries. This role is a full-time permanent role with Robert Half.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform Bank Reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Maintain and manage the General Ledger

• Prepare and post Journal Entries as required

• Assist with the Month End Close process

• Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Prepare financial management reports

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in maintaining and managing the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite is a STRONG PREFERRED

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
