This can be an incredible part-time opportunity for an individual passionate about animals. It is a job designed to act as supplemental income. This can also be a fantastic first step for an individual looking to build a career working professionally with animals. 

Schedule/Area:

  • Professional dog walker/pet sitter with the ability to also care for cats *

  • We need the most help with weekday service but may have additional work opportunities on evenings and weekends. 

  • We service Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Kendall, Cutler Bay, and nearby communities. 

    *if you suffer from allergies to certain dog and cat breeds, you would not be assigned to care for those animals

    Compensation:

    $15 - $17 / hour (Starting pay depends upon experience. With bonuses and client gratuity, you could earn $17+ per hour.)

  • Leash Manners Training services are paid up to $20 per hour.

  • $600 - $1000+ / monthly

  • Performance reviews at three months and one year annually

    The responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and positive walking environment for our client's pets.

  • Follow the client-provided care instructions, including positive reinforcement-based training preferences.

  • Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats.

  • Give our clients first-class customer service with a personal touch.

  • Communicate with staff via phone/text and photographs.

  • Practice time management and contribute to the team effort by working as a team player.

  • Operate your own safe/insured/consistently available personal vehicle. Drive from one client's residence to another in a safe and timely manner. You will be expected to drive safely and park in an urban environment.
