Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our office in Miami, Florida. The individual will be primarily responsible for managing accounts payable tasks within the construction industry. The role involves handling multiple accounts, entering invoices, and using SAGE software for accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and manage six different accounts

• Accurately enter invoices into SAGE software on a regular basis

• Use Sage for coding invoices and running checks

• Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts payable transactions

• Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues in a timely manner

• Regularly communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding payment schedules

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve and streamline accounts payable processes

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies in handling accounts payable

• Provide support for financial audits by preparing and presenting necessary accounts payable records and documentation

• Regularly update management on any issues or discrepancies related to accounts payable.

Requirements

Experience with Sage is required.
