This position is not a remote role and is located onsite in Wisconsin. Job Summary: The Staff RN VCT assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for an identified group of patients. The individual must demonstrate competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Five years of critical care, or equivalent area of practice experience, is required. Over five years of critical care, or equivalent area of practice experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and clinical practice at a level generally acquired through completing a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor\'s degree is preferred.a TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.aIncluding a fundamental understanding of hemodynamics and sepsis and their related interventional treatments. Knowledge of bedside devices includes, but is not limited to, intra-aortic balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement therapy, 12-lead EKG interpretation, NIH Stroke Scale, ventricular assist devices, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Requires current, unrestricted, state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
