POSITION SUMMARY: The experienced CNC Machinist will produce a variety of high precision, high-quality components required for our machine tools and automation products. This work, conducted in a bright, temperature-controlled environment, utilizes updated equipment and the most up-to-date technology. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plans and completes setups from detailed manufacturing drawings Sets up and operates CNC equipment in a short run, close tolerance (.0005\") environment Able to read and interpret CAM posted G and M code and modify as needed on a variety of machine controls Selects appropriate tooling based on materials and tolerances Operates machines to produce high precision, low volume parts, calculating proper SFM and feeds.
