108,200-155,500 Pending Experience

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Support the Manager of Business Analysis for Containerboard and the Commercial Finance Team with analysis, planning & forecasting.

  • The CB FP&A Team Lead role is extremely fast past and fluid, therefore organizational agility is needed to obtain information across departments and a strong understanding of business analytics is critical.

  • Strong technical skills, excel skills and the ability to maneuver in SAP and various CB systems is required. The ability to deal with ambiguity, strong commercial and operational understanding of IPG is strongly preferred.

  • Finance/analysis support for: Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Transportation

  • Aids in the maintenance of accurate books and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensures that business is conducted in compliance with established division and corporate policies, procedures and practices.

  • Lead month end close and reporting for:

  • CB division commercial

  • CB supply chain

  • Provides leadership to CB Commercial Analysts by providing day to day guidance, supervision and training.

  • Responsible for Containerboard Division B/S accounts (i.e. cc 8530)

  • Responsible for accurate & timely reports (sales, volume/mix, price, distribution, inventory, etc.)

  • Accountable for components of the annual operating plan, strategic plan, quarterly business reviews, key issues strategic reviews, and board of director’s meetings in conjunction with the CB Manager, Business Analysis, CB Controller, Commercial Analysts, other Finance and Business senior leaders.

  • Manage CB internal controls and review processes around Delegation of Authority, QR-16, inventory accounting, Trades, CB Sales Contracts

  • Plan and maintain self-review and internal audit schedule, including regular balance sheet reviews of CB Division profit centers and cost centers

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • BBA or BS degree in Accounting/Finance, or advanced degree such as an MBA

  • 5-8 years of finance or industry related experience within a manufacturing, converting

  • 1-3 years of management experience responsible for managing a team and multiple processes, preferred

  • Plant or mill experiences preferred

  • Strong business acumen. Knowledge of how our business works manufacturing, converting, supply chain, commercial) and experience working across these organizations to obtain results

  • Ability to work comfortably with senior leaders of Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Management

  • Knowledge of our products, markets and customers or ability to learn quickly

  • Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of SAP and related systems

  • Strong administrative, organizational and analytical skills

  • Oral and Written Communication Skills

  • Must be a self-starter and deliver on objectives
