Henry Schein Business Project Manager in Melville, New York

This position is responsible for the development of project plans, business analysis, planning and managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risks required to meet goals of simple to complex projects to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for project management activities including developing project plans, scope, resources, budgets, monitoring project tasks, logs (decisions, risks and issues) activities, measures and reporting to meet goals of simple to complex projects
  • Develop and present materials, models, workflow diagrams, findings, plans and/or conclusions that will provide the necessary sensitivity analysis for management to form new strategies; also, tailor presentation(s) to other appropriate audiences as necessary
  • Provide post implementation support, such as problem resolution, adjustments to new procedures and change management Lead complex analysis of projects, drive solutions, and develop alternatives to meet needs of key stakeholders
  • Foster the communication and cross-functional collaboration required to share information that will support and, in most cases, drive fact-based solutions
  • Perform appropriate scope analysis and lessons learned
  • Lead complex analysis of projects, drive solutions, and develop alternatives to meet needs of key stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with teams and all stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through all stages of the project.
  • Continually looks for process improvement strategies
  • Implement and support appropriate methodologies such as SDLC (software development lifecycle) and Agile.
  • Participate in other special projects and perform other duties as required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Program and/or Project Management experience required
  • Preferred certification in PMO environment
  • Experience managing financial projects is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle/HFM

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.

This is a remote/work from home position, open to all US-based applicants, but candidates must agree to work New York hours regardless of their location.

The posted range for this position is $95,990-$167,983 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
