Work alongside an outstanding Emergency Air & Ground response company Daily Workflow: Administer competent & compassionate life support care on emergent & non-emergent ambulance calls, following written or verbal physician orders & protocols, working within the scope of practice of a licensed Paramedic. Respond promptly & safely to all dispatched ambulance calls & ensure safe transport of patients to a medical facility, following state statutes for emergency vehicles. Provide high quality customer service & patient care by interacting with customers, family members & others in a professional, caring, respectful & dignified manner. Provide a safe out-of-hospital environment for self, patients, co-workers, & public through appropriate use of personal protective equipment Follow proper cleaning & disinfecting guidelines for contaminated equipment & supplies. Thoroughly & accurately complete computer-based Patient Care Reports Protect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with the company privacy policy, guidelines, & practices as required by federal & state law We\'re Seeking: Associates degree in Paramedicine or equivalent education & experience to obtain Recent Paramedic experience on a 911 transporting ambulance Oregon Paramedic License OR ability to obtain provisionary OPL. Nationally Registered Paramedic certification Oregon Driver\'s License or ability to obtain upon hire BLS, ACLS, & PALS or PEPP certifications. Required to obtain within 18 months of hire Must pass Drug Test & Background Check Must Pass DMV Check, be at least 21 years old, & meet company driving record requirements to comply with the company\'s insurance requirements for driving company vehicles Must successfully complete & pass a pre-employment & annual Paramedic physical exam & functional testing as a condition of continuing employment Ability to communicate verbally via radio equipment & telephones Ability to use good judgment & remain calm in high-stress situations Ability to calculate weight & volume ratios Ability to read manuals/road maps & accurately discern street signs & addresses. Ability to interview patient, family members, & bystanders & record information following medical-legal standards. Good manual dexterity with the ability to perform all tasks related to quality patient care Ability to operate company vehicles in both an emergent & non-emergent manner, with due regard for the public Schedule: Shift work which includes seven (7), 12-hour shifts in a 2 week period.
