Timber Products Company Management Trainee in Medford, Oregon

Timber Products is looking for motivated candidates for our Management Training program (Leadership University).

POSITION SUMMARY:

This program will prepare the selected candidates to assume the full responsibilities of a shift supervisor and future leader in the Timber Products organization. If chosen for this position, you will spend time learning and working in all areas of our business. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be considered for future vacancies within Timber Products Company.

DUTIES:

Learn, engage, and prepare to be a front line leader as a first step toward other opportunities as you grow. You will spend time learning from the current leadership at each of our operations in the Southern Oregon Region. Management Trainees must demonstrate a willingness to serve/lead as you learn the product, processes, and people who make it all happen. Building effective working relationships with your peers, managers, and employees will be essential to success. Management Trainees must be able to demonstrate the ability to learn and absorb high volumes of information and put it to use in a practical, tactical and strategic way.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Effective experience leading teams or groups of people (work, community etc.)

  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation to achieve productivity, quality and safety goals.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Basic computer skills in word, excel and office.

  • Strength in mechanical and math reasoning skills.

  • Work experience in wood products or manufacturing environment preferred.
