Daily Workflow: Following safe work practices, plant policies and procedures Machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance Installing new electrical equipment and wiring Repairing or replacing; motors, controls, VFDs and PLC components We\'re Seeking: Preferred knowledge in Allen Bradly PLC controls PLC programming skills Preferred experience with AutoCAD Preferred familiarity with PLC 5, ControlLogix, Flex Logix, and/or MicroLogix Preferred familiarity with plywood and/or veneer plant machinery and equipment Must have a valid Oregon Manufacturing Plant Journeyman license or higher, or the ability to obtain a license prior to date of hire. Must have an excellent work and safety record. Must be able to work at heights, and in hot/dusty environments. Must be able to work various shifts including days, swing and/or graveyard with required daily or weekly overtime as needed. Must be able to comprehend and enter detailed work orders into our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Must have experience in Field Prep which consists shop math, basic measuring tools, print reading, and conduit bending. Must have experience using electrical testing equipment such as oscilloscope, meters, and meggers. Must have experience identifying and controlling failed components such as switches, relays, frequency drives, motor starters.
