Position Description: Patient Care Technician

Positions details:

• Location: Mease Countryside Hospital - 3231 N McMullen-Booth Road, Safety Harbor FL 34695

• Status: Full Time

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

• Every other weekend requirement

• On Call: No

• Always in person

• Exempt from overtime pay: No

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• 6 months – Acute Care/hospital Experience, or

• 1 year – Skilled Nursing Facility (licensed CNA), or

• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN Program, or

• Licensed EMT or Paramedic with experience

Required Certification:

• BLS (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)

Preferred:

• 1 year - Hospital PCT or CNA work experience

• EMT certification / Paramedic license

The Patient Care Technician –responsibilities and skills:

Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN
