Motor Vehicle Operator to support the intelligence community at McLean, VA. As a Motor Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for operating various motor vehicles, including buses and other passenger vehicles, to transport personnel and equipment within the intelligence community.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate motor vehicles, including buses and passenger vehicles, to transport personnel and equipment within the intelligence community.

  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating vehicles.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and report any maintenance or repair needs.

  • Load and unload equipment and supplies as required.

  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.

  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely transportation of personnel and equipment.

  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics.

  • Adhere to security protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Clearance: TS/SCI w FS Poly

  • Valid Class B driver's license with passenger and airbrake endorsements.

  • Experience as a motor vehicle operator, preferably in a similar role within the intelligence community or a related field.

  • Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.

  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to operate various motor vehicles, including buses and passenger vehicles, in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work variable shifts
