Job Summary and Qualifications

• The RN Manager Emergency Services is responsible for assisting the Administrative Director of Emergency Services with all departmental functions in support of the hospital Mission, Vision and facility goals, and performance improvement programs.

• The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business trends, resource availability and changes in customers.

• This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.

• The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The department manager works with Senior Management in meeting facility goals.

• The RN Manager Emergency Services also acts as a coordinator of the Chest Pain Center, with a focus on efficient care of ACS patients.

• As a member of the Medical City McKinney team, the Manager makes a significant contribution to the public’s perception of the hospital.

• Performs additional tasks/activities as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Trauma Nursing Core Course

• Registered Nurse

• Bachelors Degree
