Truck Hero Inc Quality Team Lead - Massillon 2nd Shift in Massillon, Ohio

Description Primary Responsibilities: Communicates objectives to the team; focusing on company goals. Provides direction for line associates. Responsible for quality of the products in assigned area. Ensures line associates are trained by using work instructions specific to that area. Communicates current availability and lead time for products produced in the team. Responsible for completion of daily paperwork and daily recordings of team data. Assists with conflict resolution and performance of production associates. Works with other departments to maintain production flow. Completes additional tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Six months previous, continuous work experience. High School Diploma or GED required. The individual will be required to lead a team in a production environment, assigning team members to perform functional roles as needed. The leader will also be responsible to monitor the cadence and movement of production items, mold retrieval, cart installation, and storage of hardware. The production order needs to be maintained to successfully fill scheduling requirements of the facility. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Basic computer and math skills. Depending on the department worked in, must meet medical clearance to wear a respirator, fresh air hood or PAPR. Must be able to work required schedule (i.e. overtime, weekends). Basic Expectations: Ability to follow work instructions. Ability to promote team work. Ability to understand production schedules. Ability to learn and proficiently perform all job functions within the department. Ability to safely operate a power industrial truck and/or aerial work platform Ability to maintain a valid power industrial truck license. Ability to work to pace and quality expectations. Complies with all company policies, procedures and trainings. Maintain a safe, clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor. Completes all required records, reports, and forms in a neat, accurate and timely fashion. Seeks to always improve materials processes, product quality, and worker safety.
