CHI St. Joseph Health Madison Hospital is located Madisonville TX and is a 30 bed critical access hospital. Our Emergency Room consists of 5 beds.

With the area’s only Level II Trauma Center, the first Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, and the first accredited Chest Pain Center in the Brazos Valley, CHI St. Joseph Health is a leader in critical care and the largest provider of cardiovascular care in the region. In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.

Medical Acute Unit Nursing Expectations:

• Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients

• Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations

• Medication administration

• Proficiency with Cardiac Monitoring

We are offering a $20,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

Required License and Skills:

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma.

• One (1) or more years of nursing experience

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas

• Basic Life Support (BLS)(AHA) with skills demonstration

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

• One (1) or more years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred
