JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Plastic Surgery Clinic - 29462 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 100% FTE, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will work at both University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center, our new state-of-the-art facility on the east side of Madison, opening fall 2024. Be part of something remarkable We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: * Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family and/or other care providers such as OT, ortho, burn and wound. * Communicate with patients via phone triage or MyChart, provide patient education and support providers within the ambulatory setting. * Assist with clinic procedures such as excisions, drain/suture removal, dressing change, and/or breast expansion. * Join a specialized team providing all types of plastic and reconstructive procedures to restore function and assist patients to feel their best. Conditions treated may include: brachial plexus, cancers (breast, gynecologic, skin, etc.), carpal tunnel syndrome, congenital anomalies, gender affirmation, migraines, nerve repair, trauma injuries, and Mohs. Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience. Preferred - Relevant RN experience. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact and CPR/BLS Certification.
