UW HOSPITAL & CLINICS RN - Care Team Lead - Transfusion in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Care Team Lead - Transfusion / Infusion - 30448 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 90% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday with 8/10/12-hour shifts. No weekends. 1-2 holidays per year required. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Care Team Lead (CTL) / Charge Nurse to: * Motivate and lead nursing staff while working in collaboration with the interprofessional team. * Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. * Direct and lead nursing staff to ensure optimum patient care, efficient operations, quality service and sound financial management. * Provide infusion therapy to oncology and non-oncology patients. * Provide apheresis to adult and pediatric population. Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing. Work Experience : Minimum - One (1) year relevant clinical experience Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in State of Wisconsin. CPR certification.
