UW HOSPITAL & CLINICS RN - Ambulatory, Orthopedics - 30100 in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Ambulatory, Orthopedics, Trauma - 30100 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 60% FTE, day shift, 8:00am 5:00pm, 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday and Friday. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: * Support the outpatient practice of our trauma surgeons and APPs who address orthopedic based trauma cases. * Provide nursing support to our patients who seek care at the UW Health Ortho Trauma Clinic at University Hospital. * Perform telephone and MyChart triage, in-basket management, care coordination and patient education. * Be part of a team of world-class Orthopedics nurses and clinical staff specializing in Foot and Ankle Surgery, Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Rehab Medicine, Spine Medicine and Sports Medicine. Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Work Experience: Minimum Six (6) months of RN experience. Preferred Relevant RN experience. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. CPR/BLS Certification.
