JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies is confronting global environmental challenges through interdisciplinary research, hands-on community-focused education, and public programs that foster environmental problem solving. Our environmental professional master of science programs are a critical part of the institute. We are looking for a solutions-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative person to join the Environmental Professional Programs (EPP) team as our new EPP Specialist. Under the direction of the International and Professional Programs Director and working closely with the Assistant Director, the EPP Specialist\'s primary responsibilities will be to support administrative aspects for two professional MS programs in environmental conservation and environmental observation and informatics. The Specialist will also support student recruitment, communications and events planning; they will often be the first person that applicants interact with when they inquire about our MS programs. See tasks section for detailed descriptions. Strong organizational, interpersonal and writing skills are required to succeed in this position. A commitment to environmental conservation and higher education are also a priority.
