JOB REQUIREMENTS: Clinical Anesthetist - 29892 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : .75-1.0 FTE, based on the candidate\'s preference. 14, 12, 10 and 8 hour shifts available to provide flexibility. Weekend and/or PM shift commitments optional for additional compensation. Some weekend, night, Holiday and pager call may apply at some locations. This position will be assigned a primary work location but must also be willing to work at any of the following locations: University Hospital, American Family Children\'s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, Madison Surgery Center, and the Digestive Health Center in Madison, WI. Pay : * External hires may be eligible for up to a \$50,000 sign-on bonus. * Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants. We are seeking a Clinical Anesthetist (CAA or CRNA) to: * Provide anesthesia care to a complex patient population under the medical direction provided by the UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty anesthesiologists. * Work collaboratively with administrative, nursing, physician, and other staff to assure safe, effective, quality patient care and to promote UW Health\'s educational and research missions. * Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic setting with ample opportunity to contribute to S-AA and SRNA education. Case mix may include: neuro, spines, ortho trauma, ob/gyn surgery, acute general surgery, transplant, plastics, trauma, cath lab, and outpatient surgery. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - If Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist: * Active RN license in WI AND * Active national certification from National Board of Certified and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
