Description

We are looking for a International Sourcing Leader to join our team in Madison, Indiana. This role involves managing supplier relationships, improving supplied parts, and supporting new product development. It also requires managing RFQ’s, bids, and benchmarking to ensure competitive material cost.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and participate in on-site supplier audits to qualify or verify supplier capabilities, processes, and quality systems.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to improve supplied parts, components, and subsystems.

• Support new product development and identify supply base for evaluation.

• Manage RFQ’s, competitive bids, and benchmarking to ensure competitive material cost.

• Evaluate proposals through total cost of ownership to identify best value.

• Negotiate formal supplier agreements with a focus on value and risk mitigation.

• Document formal category strategy and drive actions to deliver value.

• Assess supplier-based risk continuously and develop action plans to mitigate those risks.

• Facilitate supplier business reviews and supplier evaluations.

• Manage supplier information regarding certification information.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in a related field.

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Experience in Commodity Management and identifying Cost Savings.

• Background in Logistics and Materials Handling.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Strong understanding of supply chain procedures and market dynamics.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
