GENERAL SUMMARY:Works under the supervision of a pharmacist to process orders for medications that require special handling, preparation and/or accountability. The technician has and maintains expertise and skill in the safe handling and use of medications which require special handling, preparation and/or accountability.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. Requires a valid Pharmacy Technician license from the State of Michigan. Requires at least one year of experience as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician, performing all functions required of a Hospital Pharmacy Technician; two years Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
