The Senior Applications Analyst oversees the implementation and maintenance of WelbeHealth's core and emerging technologies, including but not limited to, EMR, CRM, and home-based technologies and initiatives. You will design and evaluate new technologies, proactively and diagnose and resolve problems, provide end user assistance, and support strategy, complete table creation and configuration, and keep our enterprise technologies up to date as per the Director and/or VP, IT Applications’ guidance and priorities. You will scope, plan, and carry out new technology projects and initiatives following the Director and/or VP, IT Applications’ direction and prioritization and involve key stakeholders. The Senior Applications Analyst works effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to uphold WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

Essential Job Duties

• Work independently to research, define, plan, and implement new EMR technology projects following the guidance and prioritization of the Director and/or VP, IT Applications.

• Ensure EMR and integrated applications align with business requirements and systems goals, meet end-user needs, and identify and solve systems problems.

• Manage EMR application product updates, feature customization and improvement, maintenance, support (handling service desk tickets), troubleshooting and customer service.

• Lead configuration, planning, and execution of WelbeHealth’s EMR and related applications needs for new market entry (launch).

• Collaborate with Training Team to ensure new technologies, changes, and/or updates are included in training materials and curricula.

• Perform workflow assessments, design workflows to match business requirements, provide additional trainings and demos, and provide remote support on core technologies when needed.

• Evaluate existing EMR and EMR-related technologies used in operations and identify opportunities for increasing value creation and developing process improvement plans accordingly.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.

• Master’s Degree in relevant field preferred.

• 5+ years of experience with healthcare applications and technologies including:

• Five years of Electronic Health Record system management experience (athenahealth preferred)

• Two years of CRM and/or Care Management application experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required; PowerBI a plus.

• Strong data analytics and visualization skills required.

• 3+ years’ experience working in a healthcare delivery environment.

• 3+ years of experience in technology solutions value creation such as product management, consulting, or business analysis role in a data-driven, fast-paced, high growth setting.

• Track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners

• Demonstrated advanced problem solving, analytical, and consulting skills (easily able to provide synthesis and structure for large amounts of data and information, so that executive team can make informed decisions)

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and systems (hardware and software) in new environments.

• Demonstrated experience in assessing technology requirements, documenting, and presenting solution recommendations to meet customer requirements.

• Experience working in a regulated quality improvement area: strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Strong customer service orientation and experience working with clinical and technical staff.

• Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members preferred.

• Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $99,309.58- $119,171.49 annually + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
