Responsibilities

About this opportunity:

Responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. Requires a comprehensive understanding of nursing science and the ability to apply this knowledge in planning implementing and evaluating patient care in the community setting. Responsible for quality of nursing care and related documentation. Includes a thorough knowledge of standard equipment and techniques to assist treat patients. Requires the ability to exchange pertinent non-routine information answer questions and offer guidance either face-to-face through written correspondence or via the telephone with individuals outside the organization on a continual basis. Requires tact and some persuasion beyond the levels of courtesy and politeness required for all jobs. Requires the ability to function independently in a community setting.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of acute care nursing or 2 years or public health nursing experience.

  • AA or BS in Nursing.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills required.

  • Ability to conduct individualized patient education and community education.

  • Requires the ability to exchange pertinent non-routine information answer questions and offer guidance either face-to-face through written correspondence or via the telephone with individuals outside the organization on a continual basis.

  • Requires tact and some persuasion beyond the levels of courtesy and politeness required for all jobs.

  • Requires the ability to function independently in a community setting.

  • Current Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California.

  • BLS card

  • Possession of a valid California drivers license and current auto insurance.

Pay Range

$42.51 - $61.64 /hour
