Description

Growing firm in Century City with a focus on construction defect and consumer protection has partnered with Robert Half Legal in their hunt for a contract-to-hire Law Clerk for their trial team.

In this role, you will be involved in trial preparation, case management, and the use of legal software. You will be based onsite and will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the trial team while receiving mentorship from trial attorneys.

This is a great opportunity for a JD who does not want to sit for the July Bar and wants to build their resume and support the trial team!

Responsibilities

• Prepare for trials by organizing and managing legal documents

• Exhibit and trial binder prep

• Drafting support for trial docs (proof of service) and subpoenas.

• Use case management software to track and update legal proceedings

• Operate legal software to facilitate the work of the legal team

  Requirements

• Does not plan to sit for July Bar

• Can be open to paralegals with trial prep experience

• Possession of a Juris Doctor

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organization and time management abilities

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
