Job Description

University of Mount Saint Vincent invites applications for faculty to teach at our Queens location at 37-02 Queens Boulevard in Long Island City. Our accredited (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education -CCNE) Nursing program is seeking faculty to teach in our accelerated baccalaureate program. These positions are appointments with salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

Requirements

CMSV has open opportunities particularly for Faculty with expertise in the following areas:

  • Fundamentals of Nursing

  • Medical Surgical

  • Health Assessment

  • Adult Health

Responsibilities

  • Teach in both the undergraduate program in the Queens extension site

  • Advise and mentor students

  • Engage in scholarly activities and participate in initiatives within the College

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing

  • Earned Doctorate in Nursing strongly preferred

  • Clinical and Teaching expertise in the specialty area

Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with faculty, staff and leadership

  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse faculty and student populations

  • Ability to use Google Suite and Gmail

The allotted salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000; salary commensurate with relevant education.
