Location: Long Island City, NY

Pay: $16.00 per hour (with a potential increase to 17.50/after 3-month training & evaluation period)

Hours: 20-35 hours per week

Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

A minimum of 1.5 years' work experience in the dog daycare care industry.

Dog Care: Oversee and manage the dogs in play yards, ensuring their safety well-being. Monitor, with, interact with dogs. Must be able to understand dog body language.

Facility Management: Conduct tasks associated with opening and closing the facility. This includes setting up TDC for doggy daycare in morning shutting it down bedtime evening.

Interviews: Assist in interviewing new dogs to determine their suitability for our environment.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of play prep areas, break rooms, other areas within TDC. Additionally, maintain a clean exterior environment, including lobby, area in front TDC, adjacent spaces.

Dog Logistics: Safely run dogs between the back-of-house and front-areas. Prepare meals for dogs, dispense medications when required, maintain accurate food medication logs.

Customer Interaction: Greet pet parents and their dogs upon arrival and departure. Check dogs in and out of TDC and answer pet parents' questions. Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained, being active and attentive to dogs and their owners at all times.
