Roush is searching for an IT Desktop Technician I to join its growing team! The IT Desktop Technician I will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support. Level 1 is provided via a Help Desk and Level Two support can be in the IT Office or at the user's location. The IT Desktop Technician I needs to be able to install and configure new hardware and software, and provide technical support to users and customers.

As an IT Desktop Technician I, you will:

  • Provide Level 1 Help Desk Support to the organization
  • Provide Level 2 support on Computers and workstations
  • Install and configure new hardware and software
  • Install and configure corporate standard software
  • Provide hardware support of standard computer equipment including printers and scanners
  • Provide technical support to users and customers remotely and onsite regarding computers and software

As an  IT Desktop Technician I, you will need:

  • Associate degree or equivalent college coursework or Industry Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Desktop Support in a Windows environment
  • U.S. citizenship allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance
  • Ability to answer calls from users and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to work with a log tracking system to route logs to the proper support group
  • Experience in installation and troubleshooting of all currently supported Windows operating systems including 10 and 11 Pro versions
  • Experience in installation and troubleshooting all currently supported versions of Microsoft Office
  • Proven experience in researching and interpreting technical documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally 50% of the time

A successful candidate may also have:

  • 3 years of Desktop Support in a Windows environment
  • Computer Support Certification 
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Knowledge of Network devices
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
