Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator role based in Lincolnwood, Illinois. This role is crucial to our operation as it involves the maintenance and general upkeep of our network and systems environment. You will be expected to transition between on-premises and virtual clouds and handle a variety of routers and switches.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless migration of systems between on-premises and virtual clouds

• Utilize VMware technologies for efficient system administration

• Handle a variety of routers and switches for optimal network performance

• Troubleshoot VPNs and ensure secure remote access

• Oversee the movement of virtual machines and manage DHCP Scopes

• Conduct regular testing and general maintenance of our network and systems environment

• Utilize your knowledge of firewall for network security

• Manage Cisco Technologies and Active Directory

• Ensure proper configuration management and backup technologies are in place

• Work with Windows 11 and VM Horizon for smooth system operations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.

• Experience with Active Directory is necessary.

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is crucial for this role.

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware is required.

• Understanding of Configuration Management is necessary.

• Experience in VMware and VMware Technologies is critical.

• Knowledge of VDI and VM Horizon is needed.

• Familiarity with Windows 11 is required.

• Experience in DHCP, DHCP-DNS, and DHCP DNS is crucial.
