If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team! As a Tutor at Sylvan, your primary responsibilities are: Just Teaching.                 No Lesson Plans.               No Preparation. As a part-time Sylvan Tutor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group setting. You will provide personalized instruction in Reading, Writing, and Math to students of all levels. Locations: We are currently hiring at our Lima, Wapakoneta, and Delphos Locations Tutor Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Teaching Credential recommended -or- currently pursuing a degree in Education. * You must enjoy teaching, working, and inspiring students. (We want you to be happy here!) * Being punctual is extremely important. You must be local and have reliable transportation. What you should know: * You will use pre-planned lessons. They are straightforward, easy to manage, and fun to teach. * Teach students in a small group setting. * We require a minimum of two days a week with Friday and Saturday rotations during the school year. * We are open for instruction weekday afternoons (M-R 4-8pm and F 4-6pm), Saturday mornings (school year only).
